Rain stops Ward at Casino Speedway
Morgan Ward returned to Casino Speedway for the first time in more than a month on Sunday evening to race in the track’s WISSOTA Late Model class.
She was among 15 Late Model competitors at the quarter-mile oval in Watertown, South Dakota, and drove her Fleming Farms No. 37JR ride to a fourth-place finish in one of two heat races.
Ward was set to start from the pole in the 25-lap feature when rain washed away the remainder of the show. A double-feature program is now set for August 18.
