7th-place finish for Ward at Fiesta City
Until Friday evening, it had been a long time since Morgan Ward had visited Fiesta City Speedway in Montevideo, Minnesota. She made good use of her trip as she turned in a top-10 result in the WISSOTA Late Model class on Meet the Drivers Night.
After signing for fans, Ward steered her Cloud 9 Bar & Casino No. 37JR Late Model to a fourth-place finish in her heat race. She then started fifth in the 18-lap A-Main and came home in the seventh spot on the 3/8-mile track.
