Feature washout for Ward in Watertown
Morgan Ward took to her home track of Casino Speedway on Memorial Day Sunday as part of a 24-car WISSOTA Late Model field. However, Mother Nature ensured a short night at the quarter-mile dirt oval in Watertown, South Dakota.
Early in the evening, Ward finished seventh in her heat race aboard her Cloud 9 Bar & Casino No. 37JR ride, putting her in the 19th spot to begin the 25-lap feature. However, rains came before the race could begin. The makeup date is set for June 16.
